Shea-Lynn's Butterfly Effect

Shea-Lynn's Butterfly Effect (SBE) is a not-for-profit dedicated to enhancing driver and passenger safety by increasing seat belt use and promoting safe driving practices. Formed after the tragic loss of a beautiful 16-year-old girl who was killed in a single-vehicle car crash because she wasn’t wearing a seat belt, SBE aims to raise awareness about seat belt safety to help ensure everyone—your kids, grandkids, parents, partner, friends, and employees—buckle up and get home safely.

Through educational presentations, incentive programs, prevention efforts, attending community events, and developing safety resources, we empower drivers and passengers to take an active role in adopting and promoting safe driving behaviours. We also run public safety campaigns to foster a culture of responsibility on the road. Our goal is to reduce injuries and preventable tragedies in our community by encouraging everyone to buckle up, speak up, and make safe choices in every car ride.
